A Loanhead superstore is to get life-saving equipment.
Teaming up with the British Heart Foundation, Asda has committed to having CPR-trained staff and a public access defibrillator in every store.
The roll-out across all stores, warehouses and offices, including Straiton, will be completed by the end of the year.
The life-saving kit will potentially cut the amount of time cardiac arrest victims have to wait for emergency treatment in an Asda store or the surrounding community.
