You can now get takeaway directly from Bross Bagels in Bruntsfield - with 'big' Leith announcement coming soon

An overwhelming demand for freshly baked Montreal-style bagels and their fillings has encouraged the business to reopen for takeaway, implementing social distancing rules and safety measures.

The Bruntsfield shop will be open every day from 11am until 3pm with a special takeaway menu and some new items on the menu.

The new takeaway menu includes all their customers favourite signature fillings from the cold deli and as of Friday they will launch their hot bagels which will feature their – ‘Cluster Pluck’, ‘Hot Chick Club’, ‘Big Apple’, ‘Spicy BAT’ and a brand new hot filled bagel called ‘the HOLE shebang’ which is complete with Grilled turkey, melted Swiss, grilled pastrami, melted Monterey Jack, bacon, crispy onions, pink jalapeño and garlic kraut, and Mama Bross’ buffamayo priced at £6.50.

Customers will be able to order in advance on the Bross Bagels website where they will receive a time slot to pick up the order.

They have since re-opened their Stockbridge shop for takeaway following success with the click and collect service, with their West End shop re-opening this Thursday. The Portobello shop’s opening is to be confirmed while the owners have said a big announcement for the Leith outlet is “coming soon”.

The team are requesting that one person only from each household comes to collect their bagels from the Bruntsfield shop along with their order number.

Bross Bagels are also continuing their recently launched Bross Deli delivery service and the authentic Montreal-style bagels can be ordered to be delivered around the UK.
