A Gorebridge man and his award-winning car will soon appear on the big screen alongside two of Hollywood’s biggest names.

“While I was there they asked me to be an extra in the film. I got make-up and all the 70s gear, it was all a bit surreal.”

The 67 Mustang gained cult status when used in the crime thriller movie ‘Bullitt’ in 1968. Frank Bullitt, played by actor Steve McQueen, drove a modified Highland Green 1968 Mustang GT fastback while chasing two hit-men through the streets of San Francisco.

Brian added: “I have had the car for ten years. It was an American car which went to South Africa and I got it from Cape Town.

“It’s just my hobby. It’s a beautiful, beautiful car and it has been in shows and won trophies. I’m proud to own it.”
