Dalkeith Palace to host country fair
FOLLOWING the roaring success of the 2011 Galloway Country Fair at Drumlanrig Castle, the Buccleuch Group is delighted to announce it will host a sister event at Dalkeith Country Estate.
The new fair, which will take place in the fields in front of Dalkeith Palace over the weekend of April 7 and 8, is expected to attract crowds from across the UK and will feature something exciting for all the family.
Traditional have-a-go country pursuits such as wood turning, pottery, archery and falconry will abound alongside the fun fair, quality exhibitor stands and craft and food halls outside the main ring. Children and adults will even be invited to watch warriors test their strength in the medieval jousting challenge.
