Diverse attractions at Mela in Loanhead

Midlothian Council is inviting county residents to celebrate inclusivity and diversity within the county by taking part in a Wellbeing Mela at Loanhead Miners’ Welfare Club on March 4.

Councillor Peter Boyes, cabinet member for community development, said: “We’ve got a really exciting afternoon in prospect, and I’d like to thank all our performers and participants for their support. The whole community is invited to come along, join the fun and help us celebrate our diversity here in Midlothian.”

The packed programme includes something for all ages and interests – world music, singing, story-telling, clown-stepping, Bollywood Dance and folk music from Nitten Folk Club.
