Traffic problems outside TESCO, Penicuik.

A CALL has been made for changes to traffic light sequencing at a busy junction.

Community councillors feel that signals at the crossroads beside the Cuiken Inn, Penicuik, should be altered at night to give priority to traffic on the A701.

Iain Hutchison expressed surprise that Penicuik-Edinburgh traffic was stopped in the evening to allow the passage of motorists using the Queensway-Tesco route.
