First Minister to visit Lasswade High

First Minister Alex Salmond is due to visit the new Lasswade High School site.

Mr Salmond’s visit on Wednesday, February 27, will see him meet with construction workers and apprentices - some of whom are former pupils - who are building the new school.

The First Minister will be talking to those working on the project and learning about the positive economic impact that the building programme has had on the community.

Lasswade High School is part of the Scottish Government’s schools for the future programme and is currently on schedule to be completed by the summer.
