Alex Eadie

Former Midlothian MP Alex Eadie has died. He was 91.

Mr Eadie was Midlothian’s longest serving MP, representing the constituency at Westminster from 1966 to 1992.

Tributes have been coming in from Scottish Labour leader Johann Lamont, former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and his Midlothian successor Eric Clarke.
