A MIDLOTHIAN charity is celebrating after being awarded a lottery grant of £398,128 to fund an already successful project.

Set up 11 years ago, Midlothian Sure Start offers a range of support services to parents with children from birth to 11 years old.

This grant will fund the Promoting Resilience project, which aims to help fathers-to-be and dads and grandparents who have full or part-time care for children and/or have complex family issues. The award of £398,128 means the service can continue, expand and develop.
