Justice chief slams prison bosses over Luke Mitchell YouTube clip
A Scottish justice chief has demanded that the public be told how a video of Luke Mitchell sitting a polygraph test appeared on the internet.
As previously reported in the Advertiser, a YouTube clip of the convicted killer passing a lie detector test at Shotts Prison appeared on the internet earlier this month.
During the test Mitchell answers questions such as “Did you stab Jodi [Jones] on June 30, 2003?”
Justice Committee Convener and Midlothian South MSP Christine Grahame (SNP) is demanding that the findings of a Scottish Prison Service (SPS) probe into the matter be made public.
Ms Grahame has labelled the footage “highly inappropriate” and “very distressful to all affected by the murder of a young woman”.
