Ashok Ram, Radhuni Restaurant, Loanhead, BCA Chef of the Year

A MIDLOTHIAN chef has wowed curry experts to win a national title.

Ashok Ram, who works at The Radhuni restaurant in Clerk Street, Loanhead, became Chef of the Year for Scotland and Northern Ireland at the Bangladeshi Caterers’ Association annual celebration in London.

The 48-year-old, from Nepal, cooked up a storm at the organisation’s recent glittering ceremony in the Park Plaza Hotel.
