Loanhead firm’s ban over discs loan

A MIDLOTHIAN bus company’s future is unclear after its owners were banned by the vehicle licence regulator.

Jenkins Travel, which operates from Polton Road, Loanhead, has had its operator’s licence revoked by the Deputy Traffic Commissioner for Scotland, Richard McFarlane.

The firm’s partners, John, Shelagh and Michael Jenkins, have also been disqualified from holding or obtaining operator licences for between one and two years from March 31.
