New twist in Loanhead ticket gaffe
POLICE have admitted that the wrong wording used on tickets issued at a restricted link road is the reason they had to be ripped up.
The force has confirmed that signs controlling traffic movement between Dryden Terrace and Pentland Road are enforceable and only allow buses, motorcycles and emergency vehicles.
The Advertiser revealed last week that confusion had led to penalty tickets issued by the police being rescinded.
