Penicuik road works

RESURFACING work is being undertaken on the A702 between Ninemileburn and the A766 Penicuik junction.

With a £100,000 investment by Transport Scotland, the improvements are being carried out by Aggregate Industries on behalf of BEAR Scotland.

The project started on January 23, with work being undertaken on weekdays between 9am-4.30pm.

Work on road markings and road studs is scheduled for January 31 and February 4, weather permitting.

Motorists have been warned to expect minor delays due to a traffic management system and a 10mph speed limit.
