Plans to save Loanhead mansion

REVISED plans for the restoration of a crumbling Loanhead mansion house will be unveiled this week.

Members of the public are being invited to comment on £5 million proposals to save the 18th century Mavisbank House and create a community park from its grounds.

Economic conditions and the funding climate have forced the Mavisbank Trust to scale back plans for full restoration, said to cost around £10 million.
