Princess Royal visits Moredun Foundation 6.

A MIDLOTHIAN research centre has earned royal recognition for its dedication to training and education.

The Princess Royal commended the work being undertaken at the Moredun Foundation and Moredun Research Institute during a recent visit to Pentlands Science Park in Bush Loan.

She noted the institute’s education, training and public engagement initiatives, which are helping to promote the uptake of new research technologies to improve livestock health and welfare.

The special networking event, “Education and Training in Livestock Science”, attracted over 100 representatives from the agricultural, veterinary, government and research sectors as well as those involved in education, broadcast media and the arts.
