Kindhearted regulars raised money for Marie Curie Cancer Care at their local pub.
Jimmy Whyte, Billy Faughnan and Jock Archibald raised £622 for the charity by organising a raffle at the Dean Tavern in Newtongrange.
Carol Byrne from the Dean Tavern, was proud of the efforts of her customers.
She said: “They got together the raffle prizes and sold the tickets here. They got local businesses and individuals involved to donate some great prizes. It only two weeks to raise all that money, they did really well.”
