Serial flasher strikes again in Midlothian

Police believe an indecent exposure in Lasswade is linked to previous public indecencies in Mayfield and Gorebridge.

The latest incident occurred at around 6.55pm on Tuesday, January 31, as a 15-year-old girl was making her way home from Lasswade High School Sports Centre. Detectives are eager to hear from anyone who can help trace the suspect, who ran past his victim before exposing himself.

He is described as white, 30-40-years-old, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build and short cropped or shaved brown hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit.

A police spokesman said: “We believe this man has previously been responsible for other indecent exposures in Midlothian recently, and are carrying out a robust investigation to identify him.
