Ten years of fund-raising and fun at Esk Valley Rotary

ESK Valley Rotary Club is celebrating 10 years of fund-raising for good causes.

More than 70 members and friends enjoyed a sparkling dinner at Newbattle Abbey and reflected on a decade of achievement, organising scores of events and contributing many thousands of pounds to charities.

To mark the occasion, the club has raised more than £4,000 for Mary’s Meals, which educates and feeds starving children in the developing world.

The money from Esk Valley will provide a kitchen at a primary school in Malawi where meals will be made for the children.
