A MIDLOTHIAN school is to undergo essential upgrading following complaints from parents.

Midlothian Council has approved priority improvements to ensure that Paradykes Primary School in Loanhead is wind and watertight.

Councillors agreed last week to prioritise a £200,000 project that aims to halt significant deterioration of the school’s infant wing, which houses nursery, P1 and P1/2 classes.
