Appeal to trace missing Dalkeith man

Concern is growing for the welfare of a man reported missing in Dalkeith.

David Black was last seen in St Andrews Street, Dalkeith, about 5pm yesterday (Tuesday, July 15).

Since then the 32-year-old has not been in contact with family or friends and police are appealing for information to trace him.

David is described as 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build, and brown bowl cut length hair. He is believed to be wearing light trousers, possibly chino style, and a navy blue parker style raincoat.

Anyone who believes they have seen him is asked to come forward.

Inspector Calum Welsh said: “David was last seen in St Andrews Street, Dalkeith, and his present whereabouts are currently unknown. As such, we keen to trace him as soon as possible.

“Members of the public are asked to contact police immediately if they can assist officers with their investigation to trace him.”
