A Bonnyrigg taxi driver who knocked down and killed a 74-year old pedestrian on a Zebra crossing, has been handed a 40-month driving ban.
Clark Munro (46) of Quarryfoot Green, was also ordered to do 240 hours unpaid work after pleading guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on July 1.

Sentence was deferred until August 1 for background reports.
