A young Cerebral Palsy sufferer has gifted £4,550 to her chosen charities after completing a gruelling triple challenge last year.
Overcoming her mobility issues, brave Amy MacBeath (8) ran a junior race at the Edinburgh Marathon in May before going on to complete a three-mile Challenge Scotland walk in June and five-kilometre Big Fun Run in July.
The youngster, who lives at Eldindean Road in Bonnyrigg, presented cheques to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation (£4,200.15) and Thornton Rose Riding Ability Group (£350) earlier this month.
She said afterwards: “I was delighted that my triple challenge raised so much money to help other children.”
