Network Rail recently gave the Advertiser a tour of the Borders Railway line though Midlothian, to see the progress being made after a year of construction work.

In this video Network Rail communications manager Sarah Duignan takes us to some of the key spots along the route through the county, which runs from Shawfair to Fala before crossing into the Borders and heading to Tweedbank.
