The A720 will be put back to its former alignment over the next few weeks after a new bridge for the Borders Railway was completed.

This will involve off-peak closures from 7.30pm of the eastbound carriageway of the A720 from Thursday to Sunday. The closures will affect those travelling between the Sheriffhall roundabout and the Old Craighall junction of the A1. During the carriageway closures, a diversion via Millerhill and Old Craighall will be in place.
