Giving a youthful insight into Rosslyn Chapel, one of Midlothian’s most historic buildings, is a new team of junior tour guides.
The children, all P7 pupils from Roslin Primary, have the responsibility of telling the story of the world famous chapel.
Now in its fourth year, the young guides performed their tour play in front of the Midlothian Provost Joe Wallace at their recent launch event. The provost presented each guide with a badge with allows them free entry to the chapel for the rest of their life.
Rosslyn Chapel Trust director Ian Gardner hailed the partnership with the local school and the pupils’ parents in ensure the junior guide scheme was a success.
