A special event will be held next week to celebrate the completion of the four priority projects in Dalkeith’s revamp.

Under the THI/CARS scheme funds have been made available to restore the Tolbooth, the former Cross Keys Hotel and 103 Musselburgh Road.

The final building to be transformed was 1-3 High Street, a listed and historic building at the junction of the High Street, Old Edinburgh Road, Buccleuch Street and Eskbank Road.

An exhibition, presentations and discussions will be held in Dalkeith Art Centre on Wednesday, November 6, from 5.30pm.
