Ninety-five dogs were chipped at the recent micro-chip event held by Midlothian South MSP Christine Grahame (SNP) at Newbattle Parish Church, courtesy of Dogs Trust.

She said: “I was delighted to welcome Dogs Trust to my constituency to host this very special and extremely successful event. The charity’s microchipping team worked tirelessly all morning to ensure that no dog was left unchipped. The welfare benefits of microchipping are manifold, and I am glad to have had the opportunity to promote the procedure. I look forward to hosting more events with the charity.”
