The 6th Penicuik Brownies are delighted with their Gardening Scotland success

Groups from Penicuik and surrounding areas had a blooming marvellous time at the recent Gardening Scotland event.

Penicuik Horticultural Society and Sacred Heart Primary both won silver for their large stands in the main hall.

Society president Kathryn Pitts’ pallet garden won gold. Carolyn King and Howgate Rural president Ruth Frantom achieved gold in the container section.

The 6th Penicuik Rainbows won gold in the container class and took first to beat the society into second place in the gardening forum awards.

Penicuik Floral Art brought home gold with their curling display.
