A new service has been launched which will see NHS hearing aid batteries being made available at all Midlothian libraries.

Usually the hard of hearing had to go to Edinburgh to pick up the vital batteries but now a three month supply of batteries will be available free of charge.

Launched at Newtongrange Library last week, this partnership between NHS Lothian and Midlothian Council will now roll out across the county.
