A community-led inspection of Loanhead hotspots will take place on Tuesday, October 15.
Local police and other members of the community are to tour the area looking for signs of physical and social disorder.
This includes grafitti, derelict buildings, damaged cars, broken windows.
Community beat officer PC Gillian Lumley said: “It is to point out areas of concern within the community and hopefully because partnership agencies will be there, the idea is to tackle the issues and rectify them.”
The inspection will set off from Loanhead Library at 2pm.
If you would like to take part or bring an issue to PC Lumley’s attention ahead of the inspection, contact her by calling Police Scotland on 101.
