Rowlands Pharmacy manager Manisha Anand has her blood presure checked by Elaine MacDiarmid

Staff at Rowlands Pharmacy, Clerk Street, Loanhead, raised £168 for ChildLine and Children 1st at a health awareness day recently.

Loanhead resident and Singing Kettle member Gary Coupland paid a visit to chemist’s to draw the raffle, present prizes to the children who had taken part in a drawing competition, and round the afternoon off with a singalong session.

The money raised will go towards funds being collected by Rowlands’ colleagues who took part in the London Marathon. The company hopes to raise £50,000 for children’s charities.
