Budding artists in Midlothian are being urged to take part in a soon-to-be launched life-drawing class at Lasswade Centre.

A ‘life drawing’ is a drawing of the human figure from observation of a live model. Participants can expect to enjoy a relaxed couple of hours drawing the nude figure.

The woman behind the classses, art tutor Julie Read, said: “If you’ve not done life drawing before then please come along and find out what it’s all about..”

Permission forms can be found at www.portfolio-oomph.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/life-drawing-consent.pdf.

Classes will run on Tuesdays, from January 7 to March 25, between 7-9pm. To enroll call 07815 810797.

Read more on this in the December 12 edition of the Midlothian Advertiser.
