The future of Loanhead Twinning Association is hanging in the balance.

An extraordinary meeting will be held in Loanhead Ex-servicemen’s Club (upstairs lounge) on Wednesday, May 28, at 7pm to consider the future of the organisation.

The group was established in 1995 to support the link between Harnes, in northern France, and Loanhead.

Only a few continue to support the association, including chairman Bruce Hogg who, along with wife Gill, hosts the visit by the French schoolchildren for the gala day.
