Reverend Matthew Ross is leaving his position as minister of Cockpen Church to forge better relations between churches nationally.

Mr Ross (46), who is also minster at Carrington, Lasswade and Rosewell, will finish his duties on March 30 to become General Secretary of Action of Churches Together in Scotland (ACTS).
