Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill will be in Newtongrange on tomorrow evening (Tuesday, March 18) to answer questions about independence.
Local people will have the chance to discuss the Scottish Government’s plans for independence ahead of the referendum on September 18 this year.
Mr MacAskill will host his individual public discussion at the National Mining Museum on Tuesday at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.
Speaking ahead of the event, Kenny MacAskill said:“I am delighted to be hosting one of my public discussion sessions in Newtongrange.
“We want to hear what local people have to say about the type of Scotland they want in the future and I would encourage readers of the Midlothian Advertiser to come along on Tuesday.”
