Having established roots in the community Penicuik care home, Aaron House, has celebrated 25 years at the historic Beeslack House.

A champagne reception, complete with pipers, was held for residents, staff and guests including Miss E H Errington, a member of the last family to own and live at the house (pictured with nephew Humphery Errington).

Miss Errington planted a silver birch tree.

Aaron house manager Carys Jarvis said: “We have enjoyed 25 happy years at Beeslack House and I am proud to have been here since the very beginning.”
