Midlothian residents can quiz Scottish Education Minister Michael Russell, about the Government’s plans for independence when he visits Penicuik on Wednesday, April 30.
The event, which takes place at the YMCA/YWCA at 7.30pm, follows a commitment made by the First Minister Alex Salmond that communities are able to put their questions directly to senior ministers.
Mr Russell said: “With less than five months before Scotland’s referendum, it’s crucial that everyone considers and discusses the sort of country they want Scotland to be in the future.”
Attendance is free but spaces are limited. Those who wish to attend should register at www.scotreferendum.com/events
