Mauricewood Primary pupils dance with joy

Penicuik primary pupils have been jumping with joy at the construction of new playground equipment – thanks to £50,000 from the Army.

The children at Mauricewood Primary did a special jig round the playground to celebrate.

The money, from the Armed Forces Community Covenant, helped build three climbing frames at the school and a traverse wall. The remainder came from council funds.
