Midlothian’s teenageYouth Commissioner has joined calls for Scotland to be a smoke free society within the next 20 years.
Asim Iqbal (13), from Roslin, is one of 17 Youth Commissioners who carried out extensive research into smoking and health related issues.
The commissioners have issued strong recommendations for the changes required across health and education to make Scotland smoke free by 2034.
In addition, the commissioners are urging that all e-cigarettes be regulated and distributed for medicinal purposes only.
