The latest twist in the ongoing saga over carbon dioxide levels in a Gorebridge street took place last week.

Gas monitors in properties on Newbyres Crescent, Gorebridge have been moved from living rooms to cupboards. Residents claim they won’t hear the alarm if it went off.

Five homes have been evacuated from the street since unusually high levels of carbon dioxide were discovered there in September.
