Consultation is being carried out by Midlothian Council into proposed changes to schools’ catchments in Penicuik.
A six-week consultation has been launched affecting Cornbank St James, Cuiken, Glencorse, Mauricewood and Strathesk Primary Schools, as well as Penicuik and Beeslack Community High Schools.
The changes, if given the go-ahead, would take effect from August 2015.
Two public meetings are to be held – in Cuiken Primary on March 11 and at Beeslack High on March 20. Both meetings will be from 7pm to 8.30pm.
The proposed changes would see some residential areas moving to different school catchments.
