A Midlothian home care provider has been named ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the 2012 Prince’s Trust Youth Business Scotland ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards.

At Glasgow City Chambers, Tim Cocking (27), founder of Sheriffhall based Bright Care at Home, beat off competition from hundreds of Youth Business Scotland supported businesses from all over Scotland who were eligible to win the ‘Young Entrepreneur’ accolade.

After picking up his award, Mr Cocking told the Advertiser: “I am really honoured to have received this. A good business takes a whole team to build it and make things happen. We could not have acheived this without the dedication and great attitude of all our staff team and of course the support of our clients and their families.”
