It WAS definitely a case of third time lucky for Midlothian daredevils Anne Blyth and Hazel Stafford.
For on Saturday morning, the weather finally took a turn for the better to allow the friends to take a step into the unknown.
The pair had previously travelled to Paragon Skydiving at Errol Airfield near Perth on two separate occasions earlier this year – only for their skydive plans to be thwarted by bad weather.
On Saturday, however, Anne (50) and Hazel (46) finally took to the skies and plunged 10,000 feet through the air in a charity tandem parachute jump in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
