Midlothian Games will offer sporting chance

The third annual Midlothian Games returns to Bonnyrigg’s King George V Park this month.

Running between 11am and 4pm on Sunday, June 17, the event will provide an opportunity for the whole family to try a range of sports-related activities including skiing, bungee trampoline, crazy golf, bungee football, bouncy boxing, climbing wall, football speed cage and more.

There will be a series of sports challenges taking place throughout the park, including 1k and 3k fun runs and father’s day sprints. Sporty types can also enter the Midlothian Games events, a series of challenges based on Olympic sports.

Local clubs will be putting on displays and there will be an opportunity to watch the Primary School Olympic Torch run.
