Staff and kids at Mayfield Y2K project will benefit from Co-op funding

Co-operative Group members have helped Midlothian groups with grants totalling nearly £4,000.

The cash boost is from the Co-operative Membership Community Fund, which is distributed to support local good causes.

Recipients in Midlothian were the Pathhead Youth Project which was awarded £1,980; the Y2K project, a community-based youth work and informal education resource for young people in Midlothian, was awarded £1,495; and the Bonnyrigg and Sherwood Community Development Trust was given £416.
