Police are seeking the assistance of the public to help find a 53-year-old man reported missing from Dalkeith.

William Scullion was last seen at around 10:30am on Thursday, October 20, at an address on Woodburn Drive. He is believed to have left the property in his car, a blue, Skoda Spaceback SE Sport, which has the registration SM65 GYF.

William suffers from a long term health condition that requires on-going treatment and police are keen to hear from anyone who has information on his whereabouts.

He is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, has a medium build, he normally wears glasses and has tattoos on both arms, which read ‘Scotland Forever’, ‘Wendy’ written on his right arm and an image of a panther. He is bald and regularly wears a gold chain, silver ring and bracelet.

Inspector Neil Mitchell who is based in Dalkeith police station said: “Our concern is growing for Wiliam’s welfare given the amount of time that has passed since he was last seen.

“It’s unusual for him to go off without telling anyone and we want to trace him as quickly as possible.

“I’d urge anyone who has seen him or the blue Skoda that we believe he is travelling in to contact police immediately.”

If you have seen William or have information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 or speak to any officer.
