More support for Midlothian families

A COMMUNITY service helping Midlothian families resolve damaging relationships is to continue its work for another year.

Home Link Family Support’s therapeutic family work has been credited with helping dozens of families avoid conflict and upset, sometimes reuniting families where children have walked out or been in care.

The project team – which is grant supported by Midlothian Council – is looking to take on new cases from families which have at least one child under 18 years old.

Therapeutic family worker Liz Notarangelo said the project’s seven years had been successful, providing vital support to families who have a range of problems and issues.
