Mother of Jodi Jones killer Luke Mitchell takes polygraph test

The mother of convicted killer Luke Mitchell has sat a lie detector test as part of latest efforts to prove her son’s innocence.

Results of the test, which was arranged by a national newspaper and carried out by secretary of the British Polygraph Association, Terry Mullins, concluded that Corinne Mitchell’s account was “accurate”.

The session, staged in a boardroom at an Edinburgh Airport hotel last Thursday, saw Mullins, who was trained at the Maryland Institute of Criminal Justice, ask the 53-year-old a series of probing questions.
