The thousands of visitors to the world famous Rosslyn Chapel will soon be wired for sound.
The historic church is to introduce 50 new audio tour guide systems to enhance the experience for many foreign visitors.
Interpretation manager Simon Beattie said the new handsets would offer descriptions of the chapel in French, German, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
“One of the big selling points of the handsets is that the Countess of Rosslyn has developed the script, and has also recorded the English version,” added Mr Beattie.
Funded by the chapel and Leader+, the audio guides offer a more in-depth insight into the chapel.
